Introduction:The first-level discipline of biology program includes 12 second-level master's programs:Botany,Animal Biology,Microbiology,Aquatic Biology,Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,CellBiology,Developmental Biology,Physiology,Neurobiology,Genetics,Biophysics,Bioinformatics and Computational biology. With the approval of the Academic Degrees Committee of ChinaState Council, the college was granted to enroll and conferMaster's degrees in Cell Biology,Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,and botany in 2000, 2003 and 2006, respectively; it was granted to enroll and confer master's degree inBiology in 2010, and enrolled students in 12 second-level master's programs. A totalof 49 faculty are involved as mentors in this program.
Curriculum：Frontiers in Life Sciences,Molecular Biology and Experimental Techniques,Molecular Microbiology,Advanced Aquatic Biology,Plant Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Technology.

Introduction:As a first-class discipline,this program consists of three sub-directions as Ecological Science,Ecological Engineering,and Ecological Management. With the approval of the Academic Degrees Committee of ChinaState Council, the college was granted to enroll and conferMaster's degrees in ecology in 2011. At present, the college mainly focuses on the following three research directions: protection and utilization of marine living resources, physiological ecology of environmental microorganisms,and coastal wetland ecology. There are 18 mentors in this subject.
